Ed Hurst is a Certified Graduate Builder through the National Association of Home Builders. As part of his commitment to professionalism in home building, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Metro East Division of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas.

      Ed brings a wealth of experience in business management to his partnership in Integrity Concepts. After earning his BS Business degree at the University of Texas at Dallas, in 1977 he started a joint venture in the semiconductor supply industry. At the time of his early retirement in 2004, the fledgling business had grown from its three founders to a nationwide corporation of 125 employees in thirteen cities with $93M in annual sales. His sense of fairness, attention to customer satisfaction, and practice of "doing it right the first time," contributed to the company's success.

      A native Texan who has lived in the Dallas area most of his life, Ed and Cindy, his wife of thirty-four years, enjoy life with their grown children, a precocious grandchild, and a host of extended family and friends. They actively participate in their church, serve on the school board of a local private school, and travel extensively. In addition, Ed is a licensed pilot and an avid golfer.
